Stihl Recalls BR 800 Due to Laceration Hazard (06 Nov 2025)

For those who have a Stihl BR 800 backpack blower, Stihl has stated that the fan wheel inside the blower can break apart posing a laceration hazard, this affects approximately 47,800 units. Not sure what their remedy is, I am sure Stihl dealers will have more information.

Only backpack blowers with serial numbers ranging from 546515117 to 547916107 are included in the recall.

Anyone have one that's failed? I'd love to see the failure!

The remedy is a new fan an if the crank threads get damaged in the process, a new crank as well. Next one I do under warranty I will share the pictures have deleted all of the other ones
