SOLD Stihl ms440

Stihl ms440, starts, runs, idles, oils, brake works. Piston looks great. Only thing missing is the chain catcher. I have some catchers, just need to find them. It has a walbro HD carb on it without the limiter caps, pretty sure it's a HD-14.

I bought this saw in 2015 from a member, was always going to go through the fuel system, and put it into service. I never got around to it. It's been sitting in a tote in dry storage since I've owned it. Pulled it out today, fueled it up, it popped on the 6th pull, was running on the 7th tug. I'm sure a fuel system refresh would be beneficial.

That is NOT a crack in the handle (in the next pic) it's a reflection from a blade of grass.

If I hadn’t already picked up a 440 from you, I would be on this one.

If I didn’t just buy a Jonsered 2188 for that amount I’d be tempted. We run a 440 and love it with a 24”, just got a 28 Sugi for it. Damn good saw.
