Stihl ms 250 oil leak problem.

On my ms 250 thers a wheep hole by the muffler. Just wondering what should be ther the pkug the wheep hole. It comes out on the exhaust and smokes like crazy.

Yes best thing to do is get a set screw and plug it

They come with a plug from the factory but many have the plug fall out after a good bit of use. That hole leads directly down to the oil pump so caution must be used when plugging it up, don`t plug it any further down the hole than about 1/4" or the hole out to the bar will get blocked off.

I sure didnt need to worry about the masquitoes today running that little saw lol.

Another isue i have with the saw is i like to check the tune ocationally when cutting. When i pull out the cut at WOT to check for the burble it almoat sounds like the saw shuts down for a second then goes again.
Im guessing its coil. What you guys think.
