Does anyone know how to remove the pinion from the Stihl Hs81TC hedge trimmer. Do you need any specialist tools or can this be done without them. Is the pinion held in place by a reverse thread on the pinion

I have attached pictures showing the pinion and the clutch wheel that the pinion is attached to.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

From what I remember the T model has it screwed onto the drum, while the R has 2 circlips and its a pressfit inside its housing (never taken apart an R).
