I'd buy it, have it ported by Randy, and then sit it on a shelf for the rest of my life to brag about. But I'm broke.
There are a few gentlemen that acted as you said and i personally tried unsuccessfully my best to get some chainsaws from them so ironically or not that can be a case for someone

Well hopefully it sells. I love to have it, I just can't see that much fun money coming any time soon.

We had a machine shed burn a year and a half ago so between rebuilding that and stocking a new shop I'm pretty wiped out.

I don't know about online but it doesn't work well with most women in person. "Why do you need all these chainsaws?"...

Have you heard some of these guys talk about their interactions with chainsaws? I don't even talk about the best pieces of tang I've had like that.

It was truly exhilarating.
NIrvana.
The climax of sawing.
Pure bliss.

There are some strange...and I mean REALLY strange people that have joined this forum.

The last time I experienced nirvana was when I dropped a 137-pound trailer tongue stock on my foot.

I thought it was when you paid for a rub and tug and said the place smelled like communism and lasagna.

A guy that worked with us smashed his foot when the tongue came off the hitch on the chip truck..don't ask..It dumbs me down explaining how someone did something that stupid.

Hi all,

Found a RARE chainsaw in New Condition from an elder logger

It's a 1995 Flat Top 066, the Last of the Moicans cause during 1996 was transitioning to decompression cylinders.

The chainsaw is NEW, and actually was stored for those years, might say forgotten by this elderly logger at my village

We can almost say it's never fueled!!! Though the owner doesn't remember what if he ever put gas in it even for start up check.
If it was mine i would call it NIB.

Some people here know me for transactions, i ve send a few saws across Atlantic and also some members-builders know me too cause i ve had them build for me chainsaws.

If there is something I don't want to negotiate is dignity, mine and yours.

My proposal for potential buyers is to send the saw straight to any builder (if they want to port it) and builder would verify the NEW condition.
1995 model would need new fuel lines maybe it's exactly 30years old.

For some reason i understand that this rare saw can be had a safe queen -museum grade piece and not ported.

Anyway myself i aint touching any screw cause i want the owner to get it with minimal if any hand scratches.

SHIPPING PLEASE READ: had some occasions with International Post offices were unknown delays couldn't explained even with Tracking number. Once the package enters USA, it's difficult for me to have better news than you. Cause the US post delay to report to mine etc. I don't want to be in this situation therefore I mentione from now. For sure i will make a bulletproof package cause i also had broken saws from that.

COST: the total cost is 2.200 Euros shipped to USA, if anywhere else like Australia i ll have to ask and work it out. PayPal F&F or otherwise you pay the extra fee.

All in all i ll do my best to provide to potential owner the saw in perfect condition and I hadn't to help with family most probably I would keep this saw for me.

I m attaching this few first pictures and i ll have it in my hand by next week for more 360 view pics

DETAIL: apart from original stickers which are perfect you ll notice a white one at filter coverwhich i ll translate as "use Stihl oil only". Everything from that era is there

After all if i can't keep it mine i can still haunt your days.View attachment 454557View attachment 454558View attachment 454559View attachment 454560
