SOLD Stihl 088

Clean low hour 088, I picked this up from a tree trimmer about two months ago. He had a whole fleet of saws, this one was only used on big jobs, what ever his 661's could not handle then out came the 088. Probably has more signs of use from riding in his job box then actual use in the field.

Few small things I noticed wrong with it, outer felling spike needs a little straightening. Roller chain catcher is missing. One of the screws that goes in muffler is broken. Upper AV mount is worn, I ordered a new one that will be included with the saw. And there is a very small crack on the side of the air filter cover.

I ran a tank through this saw when I 1st got it, bucking up a 50" maple trunk with a 36" .404 bar on it. Saw runs great, oils great, brake works, etc. Piston still has machine marks on it.

Looking for $900 plus shipping via FedEx ground.

I'd rather sell it PHO, but if a bar is needed we can work something out on the original 36" .404 bar that's been on this saw since new.

Saw has a HD2 air filter, with the extra filter band around the outside.

Also since I've owned this 088, I picked up a NOS muffler for it. NOS muffler is not included with the saw for the priced listed. But we can work something out on it, if you don't feel up to drilling & tapping, or using a easy out, to get the broken screw out of the muffler that's on the saw.
