SOLD Stihl 084AV

Selling my tidy 084AV because I have two and my other one has just been ported by Tony Moy @Brewz and this one will just sit on the shelf. I purchased this saw here in NZ last year from a Polytechnic and I understand that it was used as a student training saw, and the insides show that its done very little work. I took the cylinder off for a look and its very very clean inside with the original shielded bearings. Runs beautifully, and pulls a 44 inch bar in Eucalyptus with authority. This saw has the rare HD filter and the muffler is in great shape. Oiler oils perfectly and it has the desirable HT7A fully adjustable carb. The only issue is a small crack in the brake flag which doesn't affect its operation in any way. I need to clear $1340US INCLUDING freight to the lower 48 (this will cost me nearly $300NZD) and this price includes the 3% PayPal fee. Price is PHO delivered via FedEx to your door.

I should also mention that I deleted the base gasket when I had the cylinder off and my compression tester reads 5 to 10psi high.

Price drop too!! I think I'm a bit on the high side and as I'd love this saw to go to an enthusiast on the forum I'll go to $1340 including shipping to the lower 48 and the 3% PayPal fees. That's the best I can do.
