SOLD Stihl 064

[GoBigBlue1984]

Picked this saw up from my local dealer almost 2 years ago. It has sat on the shelf squirreled away with a few other 064’s and since I’ve had it I’ve only run maybe 2-3 tanks through it.

All OEM with the exception of Caber rings.
Cylinder is bone stock, non decomp Mahle.
Ignition advance (.025 from the key)
Baffle has been removed from the muffler.
Bing carb. New OEM fuel line, fuel filter.

I’ll add pictures of ignition setup after work for those interested in which coil/flywheel it has on it, as well as a compression reading and air filter pic for those with the filter fetish.

Runs well and oils a 24” bar very, very well.

I hear ya. I sold one 064 and am regretting it to this day. So I'm going to put another together and send it off for porting. I'm starting to get rid of the rest of the overhead

This filter may be original? I don’t really know. But it is clean. If a buyer wants I will update the filter setup upon request.

That looks like the 1st gen HD "mesh" filter. They called that the "Jungle" filter early on.

I didn’t realize this until I pulled the top cover off this saw......see the indentation just above the plug? That’s a live center indentation. That means I cut the base and band on this cylinder way back when I first got it. Which also means I raised the uppers. I guess now we need pictures of the grinding? If I get time tomorrow after work I’ll do just that.
