The saw is in nice shape. Great compression. Piston looks really good. Chain brake works. Only a couple of problems. The fuel tank is metal and leeks. You can see in the picture where someone tried JB weld as a repair. Didn’t work. The saw has been sitting for some time also.

I was thinking about asking around $150 plus shipping. The piston is in such good shape you can still see the machining on it. I wish I could get a better picture of it. Looking at the condition of everything, do you think it’s worth that?

Thank you for the help. The saw feels strong. I need to measure the bore. Just for GP.

Get an MS 380 tank and or a mag top end and be done with it!
Mastermind and CFB took on the project in detail in 2014.

I may stand corrected. A Mag case is a larger bolt pattern than the 038 or Super.

Yes the bolt pattern needs grinding like building I hybrid if I remember right, being this is a farm boss i think it is the same as an 038 super from what I remember
