Hello everyone. I have a project 038 mag that I would like to sell for parts or repair. I picked this up at auction not too long ago and so don't have any history on it. As you can see from pictures it has a full wrap handlebar and velocity stack with K&N filter. I got it to run for short durations on a prime but it won't run off the tank. Piston looks ok through exhaust and there's still some fair compression. There's a JB weld patch job on the front of the tank. My captain obvious powers lead me to believe someone punctured the oil reservoir. The handle bar is intact but appears to have been tig welded in a couple spots. As you can see from the pics the muffler cover has a super sweet mod! Gas tank appears to be intact, couldn't find any leaks. It's going to need some repairs and a good cleaning but could make for a good saw. Or you can use it for parts as there are quite a few good ones on it. I'm not sure what to ask for this thing so make an offer. Thanks
