Well. I called them again. Spent about 45 minutes on the phone. I think they are gonna pay the claim.

I've been round and round with them and you have to be persistent. I didn't
have to send any pic's. They sent there rep out the the receiver and looked at
the damage and packaging. I had them in a lie on one of them. That was good
cuz the woman finally said looks like we will be sending you a check.

To be perfectly honest I completely forgot men and I apologize. Once I get something on my mind it becomes very one tracked.

My beautiful 066 arrived from Alaska flat ass crushed, brake flag,handle bar,and with the worst thing possible broke, the immaculate original oem fuel tank with the handle broke off.
I'd say 500$ in all but I fixed it out of my parts pile and went on.

The fuel tank still chaps my ass

I replaced the plastic with AM Chinese. They don't seem to line up as good as OEM. Is this normal for the AM plastic?

That's normal.
One thing about the am plastic is the colors match,oem plastic Is terrible.
I bought a very expensive top cover and filter cover that couldn't be more different,I returned the filter cover for another one and it was worse.

Wow. I would have thought just the opposite. Chinese should have copied a better piece of plastic.

They aren't as tough as oem but your average wood cutter would never have a problem.
Bout the only thing am I won't use is a wrist pin bearing and a handle bar.
There made from Milwaukee's best cans

I'm beginning to think that there not what helps the 056,I'm almost positive it's just the 088 boot.

Interesting... Maybe they would be beneficial with a much higher exhaust on a pipe saw?
