Square grinding on Stihl USG

Yeah, that’s kinda what started this…Del over there has a square grind setup for his USG that is disco’d. I think @species8472 managed to square grind without it. I need to just get out there and try it. While messing around with baby C, I accidentally got close. Wheel shape might get me there. I think the Stihl wheel dressing angles are fixed, I’d want to make them adjustable.

Yeah not sure you’d be happy with the results of the jig. The usg set up or a dedicated square grinder is the way to go for consistency.

Can be done but a bit of mucking around. Results were OK at best. Would need a lot of fine tuning with angles on well etc.
