Any one know if the holzfforma case splittijg tool marketed for stihl 440,460(etc etc) can be used on other makes?
Oh sweet!!! A case splitter/welding coupon! I've seen the actual tool before but couldn't bring myself to pay that much. I've been using heat and a hammer. But now that it seems I'll be doing it alot more frequently I should start getting the proper tools. Is that only on eBay?If you don’t mind doing a little welding, these work on saws that don’t have stuffers. View attachment 443220

I've got one no welding required it's been working great for the past five years now I use it on most saws I've replaced cranks in just make damn sure you get all the case screws out.
