I would rather the spike to bend then to crack a clutch cover or worse rip the threads out of the case .Don't go with aftetmarket spikes. Ask me how I know. LolView attachment 108281
I didn't know you meant regular cutting this happened to me when a log rolled and jammed the saw I still can't believe it didn't rip the spike clean off the cover and I'm surprised that the tsmura bar did not bend it was flexed a very long way that is why I use them all the time now.Yes. I agree. But not bend under regular cutting. The after market chinese spikes I bought were terrible.
