Most of what I've got now is better quality. DeWalt, Milwaukee,Makita foredom, ingresoll rand,Hobart, Lincoln electric so on and so forth... Ya I still got some made in China stuff which what I have has been through hell and back and still preform flawlessly.(Like my HF Hercules 1/2inch impact wrench) But its the "higher end" China stuff. Yes I know the white thing in chicken *s-word is still chicken *s-word!! Most were gifts, some were nothing close by and close to being affordable and in a emergency. My central machinery pipe dies were that emergency. I've since got a set of Ridgid pipe dies but i use the doyol ratchet. the central machinery comes close(but no cigar) to producing as good threads as the Ridgid. Definitely use canola oil vs anything else when it comes to HF dies.

Thing is if you'd ask me 2 years ago what tool store is best be avoided. I'd quickly say harbor freight. Hercules, Chief, Doyle and Vulcan changed my mind about harbor freight. I don't believe Vulcan should be as expensive as it is though. It's decent especially for HF welders but not worth the Price.

Your the opposite of me when it comes to batteries, chargers and tools. I've got a wall in my shop that's rainbow colored just from chargers. I like tools and tools that work 😅
The wall space under the grease gun i posted earlier is the only free spot i had on the shop wall to put chargers... and if you like tools that work, you would only have milwaukee anyways.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

On the welder front... my wife used to work at tractor supply, and she got me a screaming deal ( once a year 25% off for employees and family)on the 110v Forney 140a inverter flux core machine... dang thing lays down flux core welds like $1200 lincoln with shielding gas, just gotta brush the flux off afterwards.... i have run a full 2lb spool, and a 10# spool theu it so far, and about a 3rd the way thru my second 10# spool currently, everything from 1/16" steel for a homebrew barkbox, to 3/8" plate with no issues so far...

I had that same forney welder!! Thing was a badass little welder. I like forney welders and abrasives (not so much carbide burrs, champion and pfred ruined foney carbide burrs for me) but as for their welding consumables I'm not a fan. In my opinion their rods suck and so does their wire. Machines are badass though.

For Rods and wires I like Hobart, Lincoln electric and blue demon. Only blue demon flux core. Hobart has been consistent with all 4, Lincoln electric my only complaint is their flux core wire breaks way way to easy. Both Hobart and Lincoln electric wire have been e7t-11 the lincoln just snaps way way to easy. I've had blue demon and Hobart in e71t-gs. I'm currently testing weldcote wire. On the other hand (back to China stuff lol) vulcan 7018s lay down some really nice beads and the slag i can almost chip off by poking it with a finger.

On welding wire, i have had real good luck with the cheap Yeswelder e71tgs on amazon... currently have that loaded in the forney....

The Harbor Freight TP is a little rough.
I lived in Hungary in the early 90's the toilet paper we had there was recycled news print. You could still see the print as you unrolled the sheets. It was rough stuff. Only used what you had to to get the job done. If you got the runs, you were done!

but at the same time I really want a parts washer
I am thinking about getting a cheap used dish washer to hook up out in the garage to wash parts in. When I moved into my house a couple of years ago I tossed the dishwasher because it was old and don't use dish washers, my wife wanted to use the space to store her 5-gallon buckets of flour and sugar there. I should have kept it...

Hey their 205 amp arch welder is a pretty cool little stick welder. Increase size of both cables and do the same with its internal cables. I've been able to lay down Lincoln 6010s with it!

I don't know why it took so long to remember this tool company!?! An odd ball that came out of no where all the sudden, they have their hands in pretty much life! (All industries) Vevor. I have the "foredom" (I will buy knock offs of tools I've never used before to see if it's something I'll like before dishing out the money for the real one) I also have a full set of their 1/2 inch deep well impact sockets which I'll be honest.... they are really nice sockets. 10mm -36mm with 3 extensions a wobble socket and a reducer to 3/8. I think I spend like 60$ on the sockets. I do have 1 other new product coming in the mail by them. Since they impressed me enough I decided to snag one of their gas chainsaws. Will it be good? Ehh!! I feel like it's going to be a decent saw but who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've got a Daytona for my shop stool I was 260 when I got it I'm now 185?? I say that as a question Because it's been 2 months since I've weightd myself and those 2 months have been pretty hot I was 190 when I last weightd myself.. Daytonas another brand from harbor freight that helped change my mind. Even though I can remember seeing their floor jacks since I was a kid.. was Daytona always harbor freight??

Anyways vevor is a company that literally makes tools for life. I don't mean they last for life(them sockets might) but I've sat on their website just browsing and they've got freaking everything. Ice makers and food processing products like chicken pluckers all the way to foredom style tools and chainsaws. I feel like their slogan should be... Vevor whatchu want? (Borderlands fans will know) 😂

I did just receive something in the mail that I ordered simply for a review for the forum and really anyone that's interested. I know there's a lot of hate/disapproval but also a lot of people who like these 2 companies (farmertec and neotec) I just received the neotec bc520 gas trimmer... From what I can gather from research, there is next to no information on farmertec and neotec made trimmers. I figured what the hell! I'll pick one up and do a review on it. if it turns out to be a decent product then sweet ill use it untill i cant anymore. If it's a dud then that will be part of the review. 52cc and it was on sale when I ordered it. 90$ I believe is what I paid. So far I haven't fired it up but it seems pretty sturdy. The metal blade is kinda flimsy and the string head feels a little cheap. I plan on throwing my Husqvarna t30 head on it. (That titanium core line👌)
