I hope not to derail but was there many of these produced? I got one in well used shape and had thought about doing some mods to it but I don't want to ruin something if it is rare.

Those 350's are not that rare. Finding a NASCAR bar was a bit hard.
The early 350 saws without the primmer bulb were the best runners.
I've not had a chance to run any 350's that have been moded.

Sorry I was specifically meaning the NASCAR edition 350. Mine has the NASCAR bar as well as the sticker on the cylinder cover.
