Solo 690 gas tank leaking

Any good was of sealing up a gas tank that is leaking from the seam down the middle of the tank?

Probably coating it with a tank liner like Redkote or Kreem. That plastic the 1980's Solos are made with doesn't weld very well.

That would work, I think the tanks for the 670/680/690 and 603 are all the same.
