Your 655 have a chain catcher?

Not seeing any in the IPL.

There is nothing on the saw I have.

Here’s my two, the 620 is just as heavy as it’s bigger brother, but only 50cc. You can barely feel it running and it cuts about like you’d expect a 50cc to cut. I’m on the lookout for the 100cc one. Not sure of the model number but I’ll recognize it when I see it.

660 is 81cc. No others larger in my Clymer chainsaw manual.

The online coil was a bust. Secondary went open in shipping. It’s on me to trust 45 yo electric parts. [emoji90]

I plan on watching for a much more modern coil that will fit the laminations.

I have replaced Bendix-Scintilla coils with a Wico on several Remington Logmasters.

It’s far from perfect buy makes spark.

I have a 620 VA saw that has no spark. I seems when the coil is mounted it is grounding out the points. When I take the coil off it's mounting the points break contact like they should. I checked the switch and it works as it should. I think I need a 2204222006 solo coil. What was wrong with your coil? If anyone can tell me where to find one. The kill wire that runs to the coil should not have any connection to ground on the coil body? It does.
