Hey Studs,
Friend of mine sent me some pics & prices of these 3 Solo saws (644, 656, 667).
Anybody can share info about their value, reliability, & parts availability?
Supposedly their dirt cheap($100 each)...are they worth the time if they run decent?

Appreciate it.
Merry Christmas!!

I just sold a 656 with a toasted top end for $80. I was told that I gave it away for that price. I had/have no idea what they're worth, that's just what I thought was fair.

644 running and good shape probably 150-200
656 running and good shape probably 200-300
667 not sure never bought or sold one
Bought a couple of super clean 662’s for 200 bucks
Parts are definitely a problem

I have a 644 and a 651pro from back in the days when we sold them. 651 was my main saw for a few years. Still make a point of running a tank through it once a year.

Pricing on these second tier brands is a tricky matter though. $300 for a decent 656 might make sense to a guy who's into Solos and knows what they are. But in the general market it's just another brand guys aren't familiar with, and for which parts are hard to find. Kind of a hard sell, which mirrors what it was like to try and sell them as a dealer.
