I haven’t been following this thread. Where are you fishing?

Depending on what fish, Stockton Lake usually for the crappie and walleye. Spoonbill and catfish are usually Grand in OK. And sometimes I will hit Tablerock for crappie and walleye as well.

It turned foggy Saturday and there was no moon light like I was hoping. Tried on one point for a bit and I think I had one for a bit but it came off. Just concentrated on the crappie after that so I could get home. Almost turning into how fast can I find and catch them type of thing. Get done early and I can go home and get some work done as well.

Sun comes up on the water as the fish fill the livewell. Nephew with me again and done with two limits just after 9AM.

Had to jump in here and say hello. The main drain to my bank account is fishing, and I spend more weekends on the water than not, depending on conditions. Mainly chase salmon and steelhead up here in Wa State. I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to gear and bait and like to make/cure my own. Couple random fishing pics from the last year or so

Thanks! I just got to a point where I was tired of paying for the same thing when I felt I could do it myself. Couple YouTube videos and we’re off to the races!

Well it’s winter steelhead season here in the PNW, haven’t been out in a while so spending some time getting some fresh jigs and leaders tied up! I’m no professional but I do enjoy tying! I lose too much gear to pay somebody else to do it

Finishing 2025 fishing this morning.

Been trying to fish every new years day for the last several. I wouldn't have gone yesterday except that I had a blood draw for insurance this morning that would put me on the water later than I like. That and I did a tally on keeper crappie for the year this last weekend and couldn't end the year with 497 that we had put in the boat. Had to fish yesterday to push it over 500.

Mine was as well two days ago. Meant to take a picture of it but it didn't happen. 29° that morning and I made sure to ease my trailer out of the water. Wish the other boaters would have as well, one of the three ramps was a sheet of ice.
