Yes. The tags are coded based on the lake or water system the fish are in. You are allow to harvest the fish if you want to. They want you to report them if you catch them for research purposes.Is that a state Fisheries tag Tony? We get some hatchery Salmon here that have the dorsal fin tags once in a while.
