Yes they got it right. With the right person these will cut up to 2" or more

Thank you very much! And thanks for the suggestion on the next handle. Where is a good place to find quality handles? In my town it’s just hardware stores that have minimal selection, and even less with decent grain structure....

Yes if you look you can order #1 quality or B grade to save some money.
Easy to call and to talk to them in person also. Have not ordered in a while but I liked what I got.
