Shipping cost

I shipped 1 20 in bar to Al today 3 lb package cost $13 and change
one to PA $11 and change
I asked the cost to ship same package to Or $21 and change
All this was USPS priority Mail

I've shipped a lot of bars. I'm not trying to rain on your parade but the only ones who never made it were through
USPS. I wish you well on your efforts and hope yours do make it through. Were you stating this to compare prices
or do you feel the charges were reasonable? Just curious.

Where are you. Those prices don't seem terrible. A lot better than you driving the bar there yourself.

I have been surprised sometimes with shipping rates. I sent a battery charger from upstate SC to Lower Alabama. They weigh like 25 pounds. It cost me half sending it UPS than it would of cost me USPS. I'm thinking I spent like $16 to send it vs over $30 USPS. This was like 2 years ago. Similar time I sent a TV to California. A 32" flat screen. It again cost half sending it one of the others (forget whether I sent fed ex or ups) vs usps.

So do i. I would make trips when I was close with work. Now I get my wife to drop by. But now a days you package it, weigh it and they will come by house and pick it up off the porch.

Sent a 17# package from Kansas to Wisconsin ups for $17 today!

FedEx= expensive but good tracking and will get there tomorrow. Options for HAL (hold at location) or first overnight early delivery if you have the money.

UPS= less expensive than FedEx but good tracking and will get there in a few days.

USPS= good luck.....you will need it. I have ordered parts that have shipped USPS and have taken weeks to arrive with useless tracking info.

I get stuff almost every day. I quit using one vendor because they ship USPS.
