Looking for a complete 757 shindaiwa air filter kit assembly. Thanks mike
Which one? The early models used the same setup as the 6-series including the smaller top cover. The K&n style filter and 4” tall cover was added later. All the newer parts are available from any good Echo dealer. Once in a while a few misc parts show up on eBay but I’ve never seen a complete assembly there. I gave up and just ordered the parts from my local dealer. Had everything in 4 days.

This is a great site for Shindaiwa IPLs

Isn't Traverse Creek an Echo Dealer?

What do you have now? Pics?

Early "C" and later. Early has the same as the 577. The tanks are the same so the parts interchange.

I've got a 757 with each style filter. Something to consider, if yours doesn't have the foam inner filter underneath the wire mesh (low top)... I've got a UNI dual foam oilable filter tucked under the metal pre-filter that seems to collect the fines well.

Personally, I prefer the sleek look and weight of the low top!

That looks great. Any pics of just the components? My 577 could use that mod.

If anyone needs one of the mesh filters for these saws, I have a couple bags of nos . oops, the bags full are for the 5/6-series, older saws...575, 695, etc. I do have extra ones for the 577/757, just not a bunch of them. :p

UNI BF-6 was the sheet I used.

Shindaiwa's part number for the foam piece is A226001230, but the quality doesn't look as good as UNI in the pics.

I just measured it to fit the rectangular opening underneath the mesh filter. Poked two holes for the carb bolts, and it fit right in there. This was on a 577 that I sold, so it didn't go under extensive testing, but oiled foam is hard to beat!

Currently putting together a 757c, and will do the same.

I think I has ordered a couple of the OE ones to try and you are right, poor quality.
