Shindaiwa 4T hedge trimmer

Just bought a AHS254 extended trimmer. The "hybrid" 4T engine rev limiter kicks in @5100 rpms. I thought that was little low. It's the first Shindaiwa I've owned. Maybe I shoulda bought the 2T version. I emailed the factory for the specs. Hearing the limiter all the time sucks.
It's quite and seems to have the torque so it is what it is.
