ok bought this booger a few years ago for a rebuild.came with a new or lightly used oem cylinder and an aftermarket piston.i deleted the base gasket.seems that squish was around .020.
i put on several new parts,air filter,fuel line etc.saw still wouldnt run so i sat it on the shelf for a couple of years.
i pulled it back out last week and cleaned and rebuilt the carb.
put on a new stihl 20" 23rs chain last night.
the only bad on the saw is that the clutch cover is cracked a little.paints flaked off of the handlebar and 2 of the av bushing plugs are missing.
selling to fund porting tools or another project saw.

piston should be a ok.but will get pictures tomorrow.
the 300s is in great shape.only thing wrong with it is the funky monkey carb needs rebuilt and its missing the flywheel key.may dig it out and get into it tomorrow.

I did forget one thing....this saw was christened by Fabio at black cock saws with super holy pink unicorn urine while he chanted habbadda habbadda habbadda.guaranteed to be 45% faster than a David bradley.
