Looking for service manual for model 600038-48. Saw is labelled PM425AV18. MS1838AV "looks" the same.
Seems to be a fairly rare beast. Thanks

I checked the 1998 McCulloch publications guide - says it was first made in 1994 and does not have a service manual. Attached is a small Clymer service manual that may help.
Read on chainsaw collectors se - 38CC. Was Sold by Canadian Tire in Canada as a Mastercraft Tool.

Thanks Ray Benson! I still have the owners manual from 1998, but the file you provided is far superior to the OM.
My saw looks like the one you referenced, but with yellow recoil and clutch covers. Maybe to make it look more " McCulloch-ish??

I stumbled upon what appears to be part of a ipl for the 600038-xx series . Includes some torque and thread locker recommendations. @ray benson , pls feel free to add it to your files if you don't have it already. Again, thanks for your support to the/ our community of ope users.
