This is probably a dumb question, but what is the recommended way to seal up transfers?
I had a steady air leak on the transfer, confirmed by dunking my 562xp in the tub while pumping in air.

I have the transfer off and cleaned up, the o-ring seems good, and a fresh tube of threebond.

I assume I put a light coat on the jug and in the groove of the cover, then insert the o-ring and assemble it. Or?

Why doesn’t Husqvarna offer replacement o-rings/gaskets for these? I know I’m not the first person with a leaking transfer cover.

I make sure both surfaces are clean and smear a little bit all the way around the O-ring. Insert it into the groove and screw it on

Yeah, they run great when they actually do. At least for me, the ergonomics and overengineered complexity of the saw isn’t worth the lack of durability. It seems that the good running/long lasting ones are the exception and not the rule. A good ported 034S/036 will keep up with one and stay alive much longer.

And to the OP, some sealant and some blue Loctite on them transfer cover bolts.
