Had a few 460 cylinders here to port when I got around to them. The Rodidney/Farmer of lead dropped one by and Magicman give me one at the gtg. I cut the base and squish yesterday on both. One cylinder had 25 degrees of blowdown and the other 23 stock. Here's some pictures since everyone likes them.

You sure do some surgical work on them cylinders Mike- they look awesome.

@mdavlee, first time caller, long time listener.....Which one will make the better skiff anchor? Does increased blowdown help with "hold" in a silty lake bottom?

Depends on bar length,full comp or skip and how big the dogs are.
Get all of those matched perfectly to the saw and it will hold a nice size boat still even on a breezy day.

I learned something today. I thought Stihls were for holding doors open because the have better sideways balance
