Anyone ever order parts from Randy’s Engine Repair? Curious about your experience.

Wondering if I should have ordered by the ol landline telephone instead of online.

Never did. They were never able to answer specific questions, so I found answers elsewhere. Same with Lil Red Barn.

I've ordered stuff out of their eBay store and their website - but you have to know what you're looking for and be pretty sure about the item. As Ted mentioned, they don't answer questions and if you need to return something, you have to follow the eBay process. I will say that I've received my items quickly for each order.

When the dad, Hanson, was alive, they were great. You could call up and he'd chat your ear off and he was very knowledgeable.

I have spent many hundreds of dollars buying parts from Randy Duncan and had a good experience, shipped promptly and well packaged/padded for shipping. He is not the cheapest but he had rare parts I wanted,I buy once cry once but he or his site got me what I wanted in a very timely order.

Thanks, I thought so. I just asked for clarification. I have had my dealings with Randy Duncan and I will say my only issue was 20 years ago he never answered the DAMN PHONE and I doubt he has gotten better.

I was looking for OEM Mac 10 Series fuel lines. Eventually got them from Pogo here.

I have have ordered a few things, and never had an issue. When I do have to order from Randy, it's because I can't find it elsewhere, and it's priced accordingly.

Then when the part comes, his card comes with it. With his picture on it. Smirking. Because he knew he had me...

Wow... what an old "timey thought" I find it sad some folks have zero idea what phones are are capable of. They prefer to use their $2000 smart phone to post smack on the internet instead of using a $10 phone to call up a guy and have a man to man chat.

Hell the older I get I think.........

Yup it's pretty sad. Other young people in my group text about a million words a minute but mostly will not call, ever. Sometimes I wonder if they get annoyed with me calling just to ask if they have something.

Warped Humor in RETURN.
The older I get the crankier I get when
A- I Can't understand the person answering my call
B- I have to endure the introductory "Get your FLU Shot or whatever is relevant to them that wastes my time
C- It takes 20 minutes of pecking around their website to find their PH # then get ran around the ringer and finally get a HUMAN with out a brain.
D- Like ANSWER.COM You are in a never ending rabbit hole... Just a closed loop operated by A I and designed to never get any results.
E- I get put on hold with a mix of static and elevator music then the call gets dropped after 10 or 20 minutes.
The wurst result is when I get hold of someone on the first ring and find out I WAS JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS..
