They haven't been getting the snow that the Sierra's have the last couple of years then? My Dad said there was something like 30 feet at Mammoth as of now.

Up until a couple days ago southern Oregon was still very dry. We just had a storm blow through yesterday though that dumped two inches of rain on the coast
and around 10-11 inches of snow in the mountains. It's been too warm here this winter. We had a stretch of blistering cold weather at the end of November/beginning
of December but it stayed dry during that time.

We made it up to 60 and set a record the one day. Supposed to get up in the 40s tomorrow too, may loose the snow we just got .

Yesterday, in the tree tops in the wooded lot in back of my house, I saw about 30 Morning Doves yesterday. None today, instead there was a Hawk and some Crows.

This has been the warmest winter I can remember at this date....but mid January and February can ge cold too. Will see!
