I took her to the vet year ago sept to have her put down when she was really sick and 1400 bucks later for a surgury she was good. But this time it was her liver and at her age i just couldnt go through this again and see her suffering. The vet also told me it was time. So i keep telling myself i did the rite thing. No more suffering. Sorry for the thread derail fellas. But little venting does help.

I'm liking all of the focus chat! Had 3 over the years. 2000 until I hit black ice at about 100 spun, cross lanes, up an embankment backwards , rolled off and ended upside-down in the opposite lane. Blew out all the windows, broke off 2 rims, crushed the driver side roof in 6-8 inches and broke to he gear shifter off with my hip. Only I jury was a small cut on my left ring finger climbing back in to get my phone. Another guy comes by slides misses my car , stops past my car, stands in the middle of the road flagging cars. I'm in the phone with 911 and yelling at the guy to get off the road. Another car comes by slides takes out the guys legs then hits the corner of my car and spins it 180. I'm still on the phone standing on the hill. The whole thing was just crazy!!! Sorry long story.

Next was a 2002 - kept for a few years - had Diablo chip- cut out the top speed at 112. Maxed was 125 ish

Traded in for a 2003 svt . I miss that car.

Would love to get an RS - drove one at the airshow at the Ford test/ short track area. Such a cool car!

Another FocusFanatic! That's awesome that you're had 3! I love mine. I'll look into a Diablo chip, that sounds great. The RS are awesome and sporty. Super fun and fast. You should get one as a weekend cruiser and an Mk2 as a daily. You ever use FSWerks/Steeda?

Just saw these posts.
SE FL.

I'd like it myself, but I'm not ready for it, both cash and business wise.
When its time those type of deals may not be around, that's okay though because I'll be making so much money then it won't matter lol.
I just snagged up a couple more saws and a bit more climbing gear and a couple ropes. I don't use the stuff much right now, but when I'm ready to go for it I'll have a lot of the smalls in place. One of the ropes I snagged up was a 5/8x200, bull rope which is one I've been wanting, by the time I sell the saws it will be free .

Awesome. I'm in Reunion which is Central FL, by the parks. I'd love a diesel but I'm not ready for that yet, lol. Gonna snag a gasser come 2020. Sweet deals with the climbing gear! Do you climb or are learning? I want someone to teach me to climb. This groundie is ready to go high!

Nothing other than the Diablo chip. Here's a cool thing. Had the chip in the first focus which was an automatic. Called Diablo when I got the second focus because it was a 5 speed. I shipped to them. They reflashed and sent back for nothing! Didn't need for the svt, redlined at 72k already, so sold for I think about 1/2 what I paid after using for over 4 years. Win win. Forgot to take the chip out one time for inspection and fog test. Still passed.

Well be down in Orlando this summer, for a conference. I'm going to look into what I need to do in order to drive something back and what kind of cost I'll incure as sometimes when you go to register out of state vehicles they have charges they hit you with .
I've done a little, but I have a masters in the theory of climbing:risas3:. I have a lot of gear as I've been gathering pieces whenever I see deals, many times it's come with saws and I just buy the whole lot and when the saws sells the gear is free :applaudit:.
There's a lot of reading material on treebuzz which is a forum more dedicated to climbing and those owning tree businesses, I use the same username over there. You can look around on the net and find a local recreational climbing group as most areas have them, it's gotten quite popular recently, I'd hope the guys there would let you try their equipment out, similar to a gtg we'd have :).
If you don't have any gear you can buy a kit that has everything in it you need to start, but I wouldn't buy a cheap eBay kit myself.
I have everything needed for SRT and DDRT, double rope is much cheaper as you don't need all the mechanical pieces such as ascenders, descenders....but getting into the tree is a lot of work if hip thrusting .
One Of the first things I'd buy is a big shot and a throw bag kit(the kit comes with bags, line and a cube to store the line). You can use it to set lines for climbing and pulling trees(which can help pay for it :D), video below of the throw line and bag/ball, just search big shot for a video of how they work.
Great guy to follow, lots of info and he has a blog as well.
He has videos of what he has in his climbing bag which can be helpful.
