I see them advertised on some of the hunting shows on the outdoor channel.
It's usually one of the 253 sponsors they thank for allowing them to put up a stand, sit for 5 minutes and shoot a giant buck.
Because the 25' fence had nothing to offer as far as help..
I'll stick with my refrigerated bananas on hot days. When I worked at the mill up here we have them in the freeze pops and the liquid you could put in a glass of water. Sure makes a difference compared to just plain water that doesn’t have what you lose while working in the heat

And as a "byproduct" so to say of needing good water for the presses we have a water system set up from a local water purifying company that would make Bobby Boucher proud.
It’s not the water you need Wayne it’s the sodium you lose during sweating. If the paramedics show up for a guy showing signs of heat related illness the first thing they give is salt tablets.
We have an entire freezer stocked with these at work free to anyone. Take as many as you like. They have electrolytes in them and arnt too bad tasting. I dont usually eat them because I'm not in the plant doing hard labor and sweating a lot. They are a great way to help people who are, especially if they are working in a heat stress area. Having to stop everything and cycle the first responders to attend to a heat stress issue is way more expensive than what they pay buying those. They buy them by the case full.So a Granger rep dropped these off today View attachment 187804water ain't good enough anymore?

When my brother worked at the health lodge at boy scout camp he said when a camper was severely overheated/dehydrated they would give them gatorade with a ton of salt mixed in.
That what ya gotta do when its worse case scenario. But eating some good foods to stay ahead of the game is a preferably better tactic.
