Anyone have advice for setting up Purple Martin houses?
First pic is an old one that’s 7 ft high and under a tree. They moved in most years.
2nd is a new one 12 ft high in the open. They didn’t even look at it last year. This year they’re looking at it hard but not the old one.

I didn't put any bedding in and the openings are on the north and south sides.

Not mine. Just saw dude driving around.

Buddy got those I beams on trade and we’re trying to figure out something to do with them. They’re pretty beefy though.
