Are they Columbian White Tail or Black Tail? Whichever, they're a whole lot bigger than the Black Tail I've seen around our place in Klamath NF.

Couple of miles upstream of Happy Camp. Is there a Columbian black tail and white tail? Something comes up for both on Google.

Not too far from me. Hauled a lot of junk cars out of Weitchpec last year. Also another big Blacktail.

I’ve never heard of a Columbian Whitetail.

Yeh, doesn't make sense a deer would be called white tail on the west coast. You been to Johnsons?

That’s where we were pulling cars out of. That mustang is still out there.

Really? Don't come across very many people that have been to Johnsons. We wandered into there once. Map showed that road going all the way to Klamath Glenn. Didn't really know what to think so we played it safe and got out fast.

Yep went out there several times. There’s a locked gate past the fire station that apparently follows the Klamath River all the way to the town of Klamath, just south of Crescent City…. but only the locals have access. We went a couple miles past the gate to get some cars. Some of the locals weren’t too thrilled with us being down there…

So that road is there. Not that I'll ever go back. I distinctly remember that odd placed incinerator. How's the road from Martin's ferry over the mountains to the coast?
