Power train for a genny at work




It used to be a huge 12 cylinder naturally aspired diesel ships engine, unfortunately I do not have pictures of it.

They upgraded/replaced the genny when they switched to higher voltage industrial power and matching induction smelts.

I might just have a discussion with a highway patrol officer about this little thing. Last I knew about riding one on a trailer down a highway is frowned upon, especially with a kid on one. These are the type of people who would sue if the kid fell off because the jet ski didn't have a warning sticker or a seat belt.

Black Hills?

Beartooth pass between Red Lodge MT and Cody WY.
This will be the first year we are not in the Black Hills in quite a few. We would have stopped in Spearfish like the rest of our bunch, but we needed to get home to the kids and work.

First time I've ridden through a rain cloud...
As in, not just rain, the cloud producing the rain.
First was slushy snow falling, then hail.
We pulled off and waited out the hail. Then the rain started.
