Never been around a moose, so dumb question.
I'd assume a mother with calves might get a little rowdy if people get too close, are most bulls pretty indifferent or do some tromp folks?

Moose are normally shy,, i bet a mom would do damage if you approached her calf,, i bet a bull would work you over if you upset it during the rut.
Most of the ones you see are getting away from you slowly,,
This guy was on the road and didnt seem to want to get off,, even though there was a small lake 100 yards away,,,, Its seemed as if he had never come across a car before,,,we drove away and he was still going down the road,, we had watched him for 5 minutes.,, 1/2 hour later we saw a cow moose,,, its something to watch one just step over a cow fence. Moose are here but not common. The bull in the pic is not that big,,,
