Sixslow... Or sixleaker... LOL!

Actually, they are a good runner when everything is as it should be.
Got two and kinda like them. More torque and horsepower than a 7.3 and quieter as well as far as in the cab. This one still has EGR and cooler so three of the HPOP cover bolts are under the cooler. I wonder which layer of Dante's hell these design engineers are destined for. My 03 has over 300,00 and this 07 only has about 227,000. New STC fitting will take care of the high pressure oil leak that shut it down a few weeks ago I hope. Old fitting is super loose, air check through the ICP had a noise in the back right so here I am.

One of our three cats got/caught something .... interesting.
Didn't try to eat any of it, just brought it to the cat feeding station as a prize.

The dogs were in high grass a total of ten minutes. The little one must have found home base.

I hate FNing ticks!

I lived close to places with ticks like that. Can you burn off the high grass? Hard to tell from pictures but a couple look like deer ticks.

Just started picking the first ones off my pant legs recently. I sprayed up two sets of outdoors/work clothes with permethrin. Never a tick problem if I have those on.

It can be used on animals; Dogs are listed as animals it can be used on (see PDF) . Keep it away from cats, they are sensitive to it.

It’s at a wildlife preserve that we walk the dogs at. They do prescribed burns every so often. They get them in our yard but not like this. This week I’m cleaning house so I can really knock down anything high and try to clean up brush. At least that way it’ll be better at home. They are terrible this year. If I’m in the yard working on something they’ll be crawling up a tire or tool bag.

Where you located? I'm in Northeast S.Vt. Never saw ticks growing up, but ~1980s they appeared and are spreading.

Try the permethrin on clothes. You spay it on, then let the clothes thoroughly dry, lasts ~ month even with a wash. If you don't use the cheap stuff I mix up (Gordon's) , you can buy spray cans/bottles but co$t a lot more.

I’m in Pennsylvania in Lebanon county right above the Lancaster county line. They are getting worse every year it seems. I’m going to try Gordon’s. They get baths with this that’s supposed to last seven days.
