I see a couple of Michelin motorcycle tires there, that’s what I ran on all of my bikes.

Yep, he closed up shop and I had him order me one last pair at cost. One of the perks working for him was all parts and stuff at his cost. Sure will miss that! I didn't start using Michelin till I started getting that discount. They were too pricey. Now they're the preferred brand. I like the soft carcass.

Just make sure the lifters in the new engine are in the correct way. I heard they don't work backwards.

Not much really. The intake valve is gone except a small part of the stem broke off in the guide.
The exhaust valve is intact which is why that stayed relatively clean.
