Are you allowed to pull the plate if the vehicle is unsafe to drive?
That happened to a buddy of mine who was a licensed mechanic,took his car in some promo deal and they pulled the plate and told him to get it towed or fixed.

I'm not 100% sure on how that works.
My service manager is about as smart as a fence post yet when it comes to things like that he believes he's a world class lawyer so I've had alot of conflicting information over the years. I don't have to deal with it, so I've never researched it for myself
