Left house before 4 this morning and back before 10:30 with a 12x12 garage door. Wondering what have I got myself into. Going to do some thinking to make this easier. Spend a lot of time bracing the scaffolding to the tractor. Too old to fall that far.

I bought my splitter from a fella that had that style "barn". Loved it.

55x30 with 14' height. The end I started on will have the end wall all the way at the end, but the other will be tucked back 8 or 10 foot so I can have an overhang that faces east. Prevailing winds are south and west so I can work with the door open and not have all the water coming in.

The implication here simply is it doesn’t appear nor hasn’t turned into a pile of rust…nice to turn into a builder/street rod.

I love those old Trans Ams. I would love to have a really "NICE" one if you know what I mean...

Tried several lengths of pipe to get one long enough to go over the top. About all I got done this morning. Went to parents for lunch and then came home and finished the third one and started the fourth. Wind came up this morning and kept blowing this afternoon. Made it interesting to lift. Made the wife come out and hold a rope to keep them straight while I lifted the pieces in place with the tractor.
