It was a beautiful day here a few days ago - there were a bunch of old boys fishing from the bank but no one caught anything real exciting, except for the guy
that drug in an old trailer tire.

Got two coho today, they were wild, so I released them, both were beautiful chromer fish. Has to pull it out of the water before the hook were set!

Took a few hours yesterday with dad and son at Roaring River. Stocked trout so it was catch and release for me, but still a bit relaxing. No one got too stupid which was nice.

That is knock dead beautiful! Any other species in there & how deep is it?

Made some progress on the sawmill project this weekend. Columns, trusses, and purlins up…started setting post supports for the mill itself. Hopefully can get some roof steel up tomorrow.

Just rainbow trout. There is a hatchery on the grounds for restocking. Not very deep as far as the river until you hit Table Rock lake. They have been doing dives into the spring that feeds it and a couple of weeks ago hit a depth of 344 ft without hitting the bottom yet.

Helped a friend Saturday
This cow was stuck in a gate
Up to it's hips
Nobody knows how long.
But it couldn't stand anymore
We made a harness out of mining belt.
It's much better now
It can walk around all day
But isn't strong enough to stand up
From the ground yet.
They have been giving it injections
To help it get stronger.
