Ther are three hunts. Can only be in one. They run for week long. This week is first hunt. Next week back how season for a week. Then the second week of muzzle loader and so on. Works out every other week starting the first full week of november.

Ya thats the remington 700. Pretty old gun now. I baught it new when i was 15. Dam good shooting gun. Have shot deer 150 yards no problem.

I would rather shoot does. Better tasting in my opinion. I got a big buck years ago and it stunk something auful when cooking and turned the wife off of eating it. She finally decided to give deer a try last year and likes it so thats a bonus to get a doe that wont tast bad.
The modded. 661 used to be that, but I added some timing advance and it doesn’t like that, I pulled a few degrees and it’s better, just trying to get it to to the best balance. I just freshen up the 660 and had a buddy machine out ,040 out of the band and epoxied up the intake, after some break in and tuning it’s running really well, so right now the 660 is the most fun, the 661 is running well and was cutting 36” maple, 8 pin full bar in some big knots and I could lean on it pretty hard so it’s still impressive. The shorter bar helped the 660 feel funer too! 461 was running well too, just trying to feel out the best tune on it as well
