That baffle looks good.
Do you have the deck tipped 1/4" back to front.
I wouldn't like that trimmer mount for most of what I do, I have to get on and off for too many sticks or trash, then I would need a mount for a grabber, another thing is I would probably bend my trimmer in half lol.
Have you seen the shoot device that opens and closes the shoot so you don't fill flower beds or spray cars and such.
Manual.
10hrs .
Electric but slow.
Fast, and check out the motor, sure you know what that is :D.

I've seen those flaps. Dont really like this machine without the gaurd. Will throw clippings everywhere including all over me! I use the rope to hold the chute up for loading on the trailer and mowing the grass when its taller than it should be.

Im real curious about the trimmer mount getting in the way but it hugs real close. I try real hard to not trim with the discharge side of the deck. Definitely wold not be the worst thing ive wasted money one if it doesn't work out. ;)

You mean the deck 1/4" lower in the front?

Sooo, Dixie Chopper made this awesome thing called OCDC. Sorry I dont have pics of mine, but they gave you a lever that allows you to open or close the discharge chute to avoid spraying clippings on things or to "mulch" things. I use this for many things.
It comes in handy for not blowing grass all over the house/cars/boat etc. Also good in the fall/winter for chopping up leaves and such. Use it to contain some of the garbage I come across when mowing out on the road shoulders. (Once launched a 2 lb propane cylinder that someone threw out(WTF?, why would you throw that out on the side of the road?). It went a good 20') . Glad I had the discharge chute open for that one.
As far as attachments for auxiliary equipment like trimmers and trash grabbers, I dont do that. One thing I do attach is a 15 gallon tank sprayer. I just pin the rollover bar in the down position and attach the sprayer there. Hook on to the battery with the supplied alligator clips.
Anything I can't cut gets a shot of Roundup. Just dont forget about the sprayer and the added weight if you go up inclines. Will cause it to be a bit light in the front. Also watch the rear swing, as that bar WILL hit objects if you cut back in too quick. Not as bad as a low hanging limb with the rollbar in the raised position. Thats an "attention-getter".

Yep, ive hit a few low branches with my ROPS! I positively fixed that with the pole saw. :D

Son had a Polaris RAZR 1000 4 seater for a short period of time. Power steering and 1000 ccs of "git er done". I've driven it down a paved road near his house with him in the shotgun seat and 2 other friends in the back. Tooling along driving with one hand. Looked at the dash and it said we were doing 83 MPH. Like riding in a car. Smooth and responsive.
Also did wicked bootlegs and donuts.
Thankfully he doesnt still have it. Too easy to get in trouble with that thing. Also, it broke A LOT of expensive parts when put in a bind going off road. Too much engine. Not enough drivetrain.
That's crazy fast, but if it was that smooth is sounds like it shouldn't be a problem. I've never ridden in one that was fast, most I've been on were more like a glorified Cushman lol.

Ya the utility version is not that fast, but the 1000cc and turbo models are fast, they feel like race cars with incredible suspension! Kind of like mini trophy trucks. They are quick, but 83 would be maxed out and hard on belts. They are all the rage, people spending 30k and breaking them left and right! In the dunes people will burn a belt in a day if they play hard! And they like to hit trees! Lol

Not sure we were actually going 83. Sure didnt feel like it. Tires werent the factory size. The previous owner had put light truck mud tires on it. Would do donuts for days with those tires. He swapped on the factory size. Rolled it trying the donut thing. No injuries, just hurt pride and lesson learned.

Hopefully taking away all the open room under the deck will help get the grass out faster/further. That's one of the benefits of the exmark is the high tip speed will throw the grass and spread it out, as long as the chute is not in the way. The bummer about the exmark is with a 60" you have to make three passes around the perimeter before striping or you will spray anything in the area on the outside of your turns unless you do a reversed turn at the end which gets old if you don't have too.I usually just do two times around the perimeter and start cutting on the portion that I could spray grass all over something with the chute to the inside, exmark problems lol.

If I was doing larger areas I would like that mount for the most part and I don't think it would get in the way with a 60" deck, anything smaller and it would because there is less overhang. I don't run a chute on mine at all, many times I use that side to trim next to mailboxes and trees or shrubs with no mulch/rocks as I can get very close with the blades, the other side you can only get within an inch and a half or so to a tree, I can get a 1/4" from a tree or mailbox post which either eliminates trimming or reduces it greatly.

Yes, the front of the deck should be 1/8- 1/4 lower.

I've seen a good number of them, just never ridden on a fast one. I snagged up a saw from a guy one time and we hung bout for a bit with his neighbor who builds custom buggies, he was driving around a long suspension unit with a 1000 GSXR motor on it, sure that one had no problem hitting 100 :aplastao:.

Thats the problem im hoping to fix. The deck builds up grass on the open spaces especially the corners. The blades are also a different part number for the 3000 series. My titan hd is like a poor mans 3000. All those deck baffles bolted right on with no drilling. I just dont have the slot to adjust the discharge baffle. But i would just leave it wide open anyway.
