How cold was it this morning, I like that when you get the column like that.
Feels like it's getting cold here tonight, the moon is out and it looks like a planet above it here, very clear.
That was this past Monday, and not very cold. I think it was in the upper 20's at the time.

Got a minute to put the grinder on a mount last night and started to play with the setup a little. The numbers for the angle are a bit different and it seems that it takes a lot more hook to accomplish the same angle as on an Oregon/Tecomec, but I'm sure its no more. Hopefully tonight I can check length side to side and grind a full chain, I have an EXL chain that hit some metal a member on AS needed help with to straighten out, it was a new chain and it will be loosing at least 1/3 on all of it and a bit more on a few cutters . How do you locate the metal in a log, put a new chain on ;).

How does one man operate 5 grinders at the same time? I guessing you have 4 children?:D

Sweet.
The windshield looks clean too, those new wipers do great :D. Mine I have to take pictures around the cracks and chips lol.
We probably got 4" here, but we are down to 2-3 because it had been so warm much melted. The driveway was so wet from the snow melt that it's ice now after shoveling, hoping the sun will fix that tomorrow and Friday as we have a bunch of people coming over fri night, the porch is real bad.
We got nailed overnight with it. Started as warm wet rain at about 10:00, and then switched over to snow and wind overnight. It froze hard before we could do anything with it, and it's supposed to stay cold till Sunday. Going to be an ugly weekend...

That would be pretty difficult even if they were "fully automated" as even those require data input/setup.
But I actually have 5 kids, and don't forget about my lovely bride, good thing there's one under the bench and another to the left covered with the towel :D.
I do plan on selling something though, the small tecomec under the bench I use for 3/8 LP/picco, and the orange tecomec(137 iirc) that I've used on rakers for a long time, now it only does rakers on safety chains as the silver will not take the large safety ramps down. With the stihl it has a nice large "nut" with knurling on to remove the wheel so I can do the safety chain rakers/ramps with that if needed. This is if I like the foot pedal for the stihl, if not I'll send it packing and keep the current arsenal.

So here's a few pics that show how the Dolmar 420 series cylinders flow. Yes, this was in my kitchen sink. The primary hugs the front of the cylinder/intake side much better than unported. Also, it's difficult to tell, but the xfers not only shoot the charge towards different parts of the cylinder, but they also are at different angles top to bottom as well. It's like they progressively shoot more upwards.
Andrew, this is the jug that needs one of the coil mounts retapped. I am not trusting any of the local shops to do it. I was hoping you knew a machine shop that could get the job done? I added more exhaust and primary to this one than the 4300, so I am curious how they would do side by side.

Glad most the thin layer of ice has melted of now it should make it a lot safer for those with less ability to skate without skates lol.

We were getting our lift ready to move, and blew a hydraulic line, so a later evening again View attachment 227224
That's funny, it's still light here :pancarta:.
It has been nice having more light. Last Sunday I realized how much of a lazy funk I've been in, the 5 days of sunlight we had last week really helped.:sun_smiley:.
