Free weedeater someone gave to me. They got it from someone who was tossing it to scrap. Glad it never started for them. It had straight gas in it.
I had to give it a bunch of squirts of mix in carb and it eventually started to kinda run. Reset the needles on carb and tuned it and it seems to run great. Gonna put some string on it and my boy can use it instead of borowing mine and leaving it with no string.

The light here in Ireland is often very soft due to the clouds and the angle of the sun virtually all year. These next few are good examples. They all look like I shot them in a lightbox, but it's done in evening light with very little post processing. This first one has only been cropped, no noise or sharpness modded even though it is ISO 1000, exposed at -.7EV raw image straight out of the camera:

1946-47-48 from KB 4, 5, 6 trucks. Two grain bed and one dump on a early 70 Chevy dually chassis. They've been up there 4 years in removing beds, cutting bodies up etc.

Yup days of rainy without a lot falling. One 24 hour period may have been only an inch maybe. Boring indoors that is just catching up

This had me scampering to wikipedia. I live across the harbour from the Portland Cement Works here in NZ. You had me wondering if our cement made it all the way to the US which seemed unlikely. Turns out Portland is the type of cement and our Portland area was named because of access to the lime, and not the other way around. That is just one of the things i learned today.

You never know, though. Shipping bulk products across the ocean can be pretty economical compared to trucking. I read a case study once where it was cheaper to ship bauxite ore from Australia, process the ore, and make new aluminum beer cans than it was to recycle beer cans and truck the ingots from one end of California to the other.
