When I bought my Suburban it had some tapes left in the diy center console.

Theirs no player only the stock radio.
Emergency scrappers lol.
We have a VHS player, the kids like to watch old movies on it :applaudit:. Whats funny is we also have a nice Samsung blue ray player and flat screen they could use, fine by me though.

Have company today. I gotta wait till tomorrow to see about the saw. I def am gonna sneak out and compare the serial #'s between the flywheels. That should answer any questions there.
Did these come with tan coils, Andrew? That's what's on the 420 top end. Weren't tan coils 14.5K coils?

Iam not sure about the 14.5k , I guess the newer ones are around 13.5k

but I would say use the Makita flywheel and you’ll be ok

Red box on left is my box I bought 25 years ago. Wanted something with more space. Brought the box on the right home today, now the problem is I didn't really gain any space. By the time I consolidate everything I'll have to keep the Craftsman top on the matco box, setup a small portable box and get rid of some things. Then the old Craftsman will be for saw stuff and grinder. MVIMG_20200105_180213.jpg MVIMG_20200105_171535.jpg MVIMG_20200105_180226.jpg

Well, there's good news and there's bad news on the 4300.

Good news is I managed to test the coil. Got it so I could adjust the gap and tried both flywheels. The tan coil is bad.
I also managed to easily get the new red coil loose from the Makita cylinder to swap it out to the ported DOlmar.
The bad news is I am retarded. The old tan coil upper bolt on the cylinder was jammed up pretty good. I could only loosen it enough to adjust the gap. Even after letting the cylinder idle and heat up pretty good, the T-Handle wrench was starting to flex pretty bad in my hands, so I went to the impact. And, as is often the case when you go to the impact - that's when things went wrong. It only took a couple blows and the screw came loose. Unfortunately, half of it is still in the old cylinder I ported. I knew this might happen if I used the impact(the bolts from the red coiled makita came loose without issues). But that bolt was not coming out with my bare hands. I was only gonna use it to bust the bolt loose, but that's all it took. So... I am gonna port the makita while I try to find if anyone can remove this sheered bolt for me. ANd good luck, coz that tip is jammed in there good(she said).

Then I zoomed in and my phone made it look like this.20200106_073558.jpg
Not sure why it did that but still cool.

And a little later in the day. 20200106_112407.jpg
Saw this getting dropped off at the shop.

Nothing is random.

Is that a cheap hotel next to the shop there? Must make it much easier to have a hooker and some meth to take the edge off before returning home after a day's work.

ETA, random pics of towing trucks back when I was working for a bud's recovery company in Texas. I wanna say 2005 ish.
