I saw this ad come up on the buzz, he had another that said about the same thing, but I wasn't for sure he meant Cali was basically pushing it out of there. This time it was clear, looks like a nice truck too. Pretty sure it was here the discussion was they'll never...

Flying out and driving it home?
If it was a crew cab I would have had a few saw listings popping and trying to pull something off.
It's hard to get a solid truck up this way. It's a little easier for work specific trucks such as that one, but they are typically ones you wouldn't drive to the store in, well some people wouldn't lol.

It is, but it's worse in other countries. In Japan they increase the price of registration or you pay some sort of tax or something like that, basically the only ones who can afford to drive older cars is the rich, it keeps their automotive market flowing. I can get motors dropped at my driveway from those vehicles for 500-1000 for most(JDM, Japanese Domestic Market), theses a reason I have a bunch of Hondas ;). Here in michigan they throw salt and gravel on the rds to keep ours going :frown:.

Oh I hear ya, but in Japan, they knew that when they bought it new, no bs rules change! I understand changing the rules, but making retroactive is unfair. I know about the Japan engines...I so wanted to do an rb26dett in a hardbody back in the day! Or do a Silvia swap and rb swap to a 240sx...then the camaro fell in my lap. Lol

I know, and I almost said that.
I've always though a 200hp blue top would go great in my 97 odyssey, stock motor needs a head gasket, I'll just order a jdm engine. I also need to do something with my 2000 insight, one day I was driving it and she sounded like she lost a bearing squealing like mad then shut down . Bummer not having a garage, one day I'll drag them to my buddies or I'll get my garage. Maybe a Camaro will fall into my lap :D.

That would be fun! Too bad on the issues though! I need a shop too, no room here, Steve knows! You will get one, takes time!

You never know when you will get an Email from Customer that has a one owner 68 camaro that they need to get rid of, and asks if can you trade for landscaping work?!?!? Ya it happened!

I'm not too worried about it. They're all paid for if I had payments on them and I only had two cars, then I would be worried, I like my old junkers. I just don't like working on them outside in Michigans weather, might be different if I was in southern Cali .
I've had some very generous folks set me up right in the past, but never a car like that, but the 76 chevy van a buddy bought me back in 89 was just what I needed .
