Ya for being in town, it’s not bad, the farm land is to the south and goes for miles. So they won’t build there.

I started thinning out the oak regen on the north end of my property.
I'm just picking a tree and hacking everything in a 4-6' radius around it, then moving on.
Got some help from my daughter dragging stuff into piles to feed into my little pos chipper at some point.

Wal-Mart was good when Sam Walton was running things and they used to boast about how many USA made products they carried. Honestly, I have found alot of cool places to shop and really dont spend any more money since I quit shopping there. My only worry is, I really like Chevron Delo synthetic 5w40 for our new tractor and dont know of anywhere else local that carries it. I'll probably see if Rural King or TSC can order it.

We had one of the 4 Hypermarts years agothe front area under the red roof was like walking down a small street full of smaller independent businesses. They had a boot repair arcade a d a full food cort. Was pretty awesome when I was a kid. Now all that gone and its just a huge Walmart

This is from an area just south of Cook's Chasm on the central Oregon coast:

This is a rock basin I call the "Butter Churn" - the basin is about 30' x 35' in diameter and it averages 12-20' deep.

The water churns around in it and if a person were to fall in there, they'd get shredded on the rocks.
