I’ve got a Colt Sporter Lightweight AR chambered in 7.62x39 that just shoots lights out. Had it for over 30 years, pumped God only knows how many rounds through it, and still in mint condition. It’s a fine shooting AR.
I've shot a whole bunch of them, but I still don't own one. All I've got is single shots and bolt actions in center fire rifles

AR’s are a fad thing in my book, and I own several. It’s kinda the ‘macho deal’ I guess for most folks. They like that ‘bad black gun.’ But can’t none of my AR’s hold a candle to my short action/long action bolt guns. And I’ve got bolt-action bad ass rifles by a couple of dozen in different calibers.

I agree, I'll keep my singles and bolt guns for the accuracy. I don't care how many rounds someone puts down range and only hit once or twice out of 30 lol what's the point

This thing pictured below is a friend's 300 Whisper from the late 90's. It's a silent night hunting rifle. Or...that's what he told me anyways. The 300 blackout is based on the same cartridge basically. It delivers 44 magnum energy at 100 yards, with less recoil, and more accuracy. Dunno bout now, but It was popular in the coyote and pig hunting communities back when I was in Texas. Using subsonic rounds, it has 357 magnum energy at the barrel, but is super silent. It was designed to fit in an m16 magazine and be fired out of short barrels(the one below is 16"). All of this, while cycling a standard AR type receiver whether semi or full auto.

White lettering, btw, is mostly nostalgic for me. It was common to see it on muscle cars and 4x4's when I was young.
